Is this your first festive season away from your "share"?

Not really , I'm home now by the way, for 3 months !! Cool, huh?

Sure! Sounds great! How is it going on there? especially apart from the understandable but indescribable happiness of the family reunion.

everything is great, from family to friends, except for the polluted weather! and of course I miss my sweetheart who will join me in 2 weeks :)
BTW that's very nice of you to ask :)

You're welcome. Glad to hear you're having a good time there. Yep, I've heard about the substntial pollution, probably due to inversion; as always in Tehran's winter.
So you are going to have a double-reuion then, right? Is he coming to join you from Australia?

Inversion used to last only a couple of days, but this thing goes on and on and on everyday :(

Yes of course he'll join me from Australia, I was talking about my husband whose holiday is not as long as mine unfortunately, but he'll be here with me for a month including a week in Dubai which I'm really looking forward to.
How's it going in Sydney (or Melbourne? I forgot which city you live in) aren't you coming home for Christmas?

Glad you're having a wonderful time there!

Apart from the fact that we almost have no relatives in Iran any more, the main reason that we're reluctant to visit Iran is that we don't really want to risk our 1.5yo baby's health because of the pollution. I can't see any point in doing that, so we've decided not to, until things change or she gets older. So maybe in next 5 years... who knows.

Things are pretty busy on this side. I'm getting transferred to Singapore in mid Jan for at least for couple of years, so we're basically packing up! I'm not quite happy with this plan as I have to put my studies on hold, but that's the way it is at the moment.

Enjoy the rest of your trip! Maybe you can bring your family to Australia in near future so you won't need to go there any more.

Awwwww I didn't know you have a little baby, in that case maybe you're right.

All the best in Singapore, I already had a market research and analysis of Singapore for my International Marketing unit last semester and I know that it's a great place to work in. I wish you the best in the new chapter of your life :)

Thanks. I've been to Singapore once before, so I should agree that it's a great place, but I'm not sure whether it becomes boring after the first year. Anyway, good luck to you too and enjoy your stay in Iran. Maybe in the future when we are back in Melbourne and you've moved here we can catch up :)
